Speakers:

Mr Sawal B Yamon is a full-time Trainer & Consultant providing training and consultancy for the recognition and certification of competencies to employees in the drinking water supply and wastewater industry as well as the recognition of ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory accreditation certificates throughout Malaysia. He has over 25 years' experience serving in operations and management in various areas of the water supply industry such as water treatment process, plant operation, water quality, training, laboratory management and environmental monitoring in major water supply companies in Malaysia. Throughout his service in the water industry, he has gained several recognitions, certifications and successes such as the Gold Medal in the Innovative and Creative Circle (ICC) competition at the Regional and National levels organized by Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), Laboratory Excellence Award by the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry, and Technical Assessor appointed by the Department of Standards Malaysia/STANDARD MALAYSIA, to name a few.

Mr Dorai Narayana is a Civil Engineer with professional experience spanning over 40 years in the sanitation/ sewerage industry. He has worked for consultants and government agencies as well as contributed in advisory capacities for various sanitation and sewerage projects in several developing countries in Asia and Africa. Since 2015, he is a freelance consultant supporting sanitation and sewerage projects in various countries in Asia and Africa, and is a consultant to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He also sits on the Research Advisory Board of CDD (Consortium for DEWATS), Bangalore, India and The Board of Advisors, WaterLinks, Manila, Philippines. He has numerous papers and publications to his name, notable of which is a book on co-treatment of sludge, published by International Water Association.

Datuk Ir. Abdul Kadir Mohd Din has more than 36 years of industry experience in the water and sewerage sectors. His main expertise is on conceptual and strategic business planning and management on water, wastewater, byproducts, green technology, research & development and environment including risk management and optimization & maximization of operation cost. He has vast exposure in the engineering consultancy, public listed company, government owned national water asset company and sewerage company at various senior management positions, and has extensive practical knowledge in planning, designing, managing water and sewerage works projects within the country and abroad in the United Kingdom, Brunei Darussalam, Middle East and Singapore. He received THE GOLDEN GLOBE TIGERS AWARD WINNERS 2016 - under category of "Leadership Award for Outstanding Contribution to Water Efficiency" and the "50 MOST IMPACTFUL LEADERS IN WATER & WATER MANAGEMENT (A GLOBAL LISTING)" on 17 February 2018, from World CSR Congress & World Sustainability during Award 2018 held in Taj Lands End, Mumbai, India.
