Myanmar Capacity Development Network
Myanmar was joined in to the AguaJaring Southeast Asia since it is officially launched in 22nd October 2007 during the 3rd South East Asia Water Forum in Kuala Lumpur. One steering Committee member from Myanmar was working together from that time. Now it is newly formed in 2015 with the name with Myanmar Capacity Development Network (Myan Cap Dev Net) hosted by Myanmar Water Partnership, formed with seventeen members including government organizations, Universities, NGOs and Engineering company.Myan Cap Dev Net vision is to raise awareness for natural disaster as a result of Climate Change and to ensure for security of water use, conservation of environment and the use of natural resources in sustainable manner for future generation.
The mission is to share information, knowledge, experience and technology using the ways of cooperation and collaboration among the network members towards the needs of stakeholders related with water environment and assistance for natural disaster risk reduction.
Myan Cap Dev Net is situated in Myanmar and actively participated and working the Capacity Network activities at the national level as well as international level.
